There are few restaurants in La Costa itself, the best being at the La Costa Resort, however residents can enjoy upscale dining close by in other areas of Carlsbad including the Village, at the Park Hyatt Aviara Resort nearer the coast, and in Encinitas.
Nearby attractions for La Costa residents include miles of beaches, camping facilities, the Flower Fields, the Museum of Making Music, Legoland, and the Leo Carrillo Historic Ranch Park.
